The attacker, identified by the pseudonym of “Juancho”, is accused of drug trafficking but is also involved in a massacre.

In a strategy against organized crime in Monería, Córdoba, the national police captured aka “Juancho”a criminal who had a red circular from Interpol for crimes related to drug trafficking.

According to what has been established by the authorities of this region of the country, Rubén Darío Viloria Barrios, the first name of the captured man, was the promoter of an international drug trafficking structure. Moreover, he did part of a multicriminal networkwho committed homicides and extortion, particularly in the Urabá sub-region and in Córdoba.

The red circular from Interpol which is unfavorable to him is linked, precisely, to the sending of cocaine to countries in Central America such as Panama, Costa Rica and Honduras. The shipments, according to investigations, were sent by the Caribbean Sea and had the United States as their final destination.

To execute the expeditions, alias “Juancho” used speedboats of the Go Fast type. With these small boats, criminals try to go unnoticed as far as Central America. It was established that the structure, in which this criminal participated, had the capacity to ship up to one and a half tons of drugs every month.

Likewise, this subject was apparently in charge of receiving members of other international drug trafficking structures in Urabá, Antioquia. In the meetings held on the national territory, the criminals made the negotiations illegal.

In addition to crimes related to drug trafficking, alias “Juancho” is accused of having participated in a massacre on January 28, 2023 in the municipality of San Carlos. Likewise, the captured man is said to have participated in other individual homicides in San Bernardo del Viento and Chinú.

For these crimes and others to which he would be linked, in addition to the Interpol circular, Viloria Barrios had a warrant for his arrest. serving a 22-year sentence. One of the crimes he is accused of is the manufacture, trafficking and possession of weapons, ammunition for restricted and exclusive use of the armed forces, or aggravated explosives.

Investigations by the Monteria Metropolitan Police Intelligence Service indicate that this subject may have had at least ten years of criminal history. Likewise, it has been established that one of the characteristics for which this subject has stood out the most in the world of crime is his warlike ability to coordinate attacks against the public force.

In addition to all the above, the Monteria police recalled that Rubén Darío Viloria is also accused of ordering attacks against public forces. Criminal actions against institutions were carried out mainly in Urabá and Bajo Cauca in Antioquia.

In the same vein, aka “Juancho”, apparently, is also linked to the murder of two police officers in Puerto Valdivia. One of the victims was the station commander of this corregimiento in Valdivia, Antioquia.

On the orders of a safeguards review judge, they sent to prison aka “El Gordo” alleged leader of a criminal group that had its center of operations in an area called “Cinco Huecos”, and works mainly in the center of Bogotá.

At the request of the Office of the Attorney General of the Nation, Bogotá Section, the measure of deprivation of liberty in a penitentiary establishment was ordered against Wilman Andrés Delgado Segura, alias “El Gordo”.

The subject is named as presumed responsible for the crime of conspiracy to commit an aggravated felony for the purpose of drug trafficking.
