The lifeless body of a 10-year-old boy was found this Thursday inside a suitcase near his home, in the town of Ferrières-en-Brie, in the Parisian region, the French media reported.
The BFM TV network pointed out that the mother is the alleged perpetrator of the crime.
The father alerted authorities to the disappearance of the boy and the woman on Wednesday night. The search then began and continued in the morning.
According to that television channel, the child’s body was placed in the suitcase, which appeared in a container.
BFM TV indicated that the couple was in the process of separating but still lived under the same roof. The mother is still missing and a major device has been launched to locate her.
The newspaper “Midi Libre” explained that the woman has not shown signs of life since Wednesday night, while “Le Parisien” specified that the boy’s body was found by a dog from the firefighters’ canine brigade and apparently he had been stabbed.
