DALLAS (AP) — Four people were killed in a shooting at an apartment building in Dallas on Sunday night, local police confirmed.
Officers responded to a call for gunfire at 7:10 p.m. in the 3500 block of Villaverde Avenue in the northwest corner of the city, said Juan Fernandez, public information officer for the Dallas police.
Four people were found with gunshot wounds and died at the scene, he added.
No details were initially released about the victims or the attacker, or whether a suspect was in custody.
An investigation was underway, Fernandez said.
