Cusco FC win 3-2 on visit to Cantolao

On the 6th day of the Peru – Liga 1 Betsson 2023 tournament, Cusco FC won a great game against Cantolao in their own stadium. The goals of the match for the locals were scored by Mario Tajima (14′ 1T) and Gabriel Leyes (10′ 2T). While the away goals were scored by José Fajardo (9′ 2T), Federico Alonso (24′ 2T) and Tiago Cantoro (43′ 2T).

Tiago Cantoro was the figure of the match. The Cusco FC striker scored 1 goal and finished the opposite goal 2 times.

For their part, those led by Pablo Peirano stopped with a 4-4-2 pattern with Daniel Ferreyra under the three sticks; Josué Estrada, Federico Alonso, Nelinho Quina and Anthony Gordillo in defense; Gerson Barreto, Carlos Uribe, Felipe Rodríguez and Abdiel Ayarza in midfield; and José Fajardo and Mauro Da Luz in front.

Referee Jesús Cartagena has been selected to carry out the actions of the match.

On the next date, Cantolao will travel to Sport Huancayo and Cusco FC will play at home against Unión Comercio at the Inca Garcilaso de la Vega stadium.
