This Thursday, Cuba beat Guadalupe 4-0 at home in Group G Round 3 of the 2023 CONCACAF Under-17 Championship. Yansiel Reinoso (21′ 1T), Lizardo Hernández (31′ 1T), Didier Reinoso (22′ 2T) and Hanoy Sosa (29′ 2T) were the authors of the landslide victory for the local team.

Hanoy Sosa was applauded with his brilliant finish after 29 minutes in the second half. After an individual play on the right, the attacker finishes the goal from the big box and puts the ball on the right post of the goalkeeper, who can do nothing.

Cuban midfielder Jade Quiñones missed the chance to open the scoring and take the lead when she missed a penalty in the 11th minute of the first half.

Didier Reinoso performed well. The Cuba striker shone scoring 1 goal, kicking 5 and making 7 correct passes.

Hanoy Sosa is another player who had a great game. The Cuba striker shone scoring 1 goal, kicking 4 and making 6 correct passes.

A high fault rate constantly interrupted the development of the game. There were several warned: Víctor Cutiño, Yansiel Reinoso, Maikol Vega, Lorick Gustave and Mathys Calixte.

Cuba coach Sandro Sevillano presented a 4-4-2 tactical arrangement with Yurixander Zayas in goal; Víctor Cutiño, Geordanis Tellez, Leandro García and Emmanuel Rivera on the defensive line; Lizardo Hernández, Luis Kindelan, Lainier Juanes and Jade Quiñones in the middle; and Yansiel Reinoso and Didier Reinoso in attack.

For its part, Richard Guyon’s team came out with a 4-5-1 tactical arrangement with Wilhem Perran under the three sticks; Jil-Lyan Forlac, Killian Mourouvin, Evan Lauriette and Yanis Bienville in defence; Axel Calau Pointel, Ylan Moloza, Danny’s Cordinel, Samuel Solitude and Womann Peccatus in midfield; and Willan Jacques in front.

Reginald Gumbs was in charge of overseeing the order of play during the match.
