This Tuesday, the Bogotá Government Secretariat reported through its verified Twitter account that in the 27 days of protests in the city, the National Police have captured 197 people and apprehended 17 people.

The Secretariat added that this Monday they have been accompanying the arrest operations to identify the detainees and contact their families and monitor the transfers of the detainees.

Similarly, the Secretariat reported that clashes between civilians and police continue on the Portal of the Americas.

The Secretariat added that, in the hours of Monday night, some people threw stones at the dialogue managers of the Mayor’s Office and the Police present in the area and the ESMAD had to intervene to prevent an entrance to the Supercade in the area.
