Ricardo Monreal and Claudia Sheinbaum met at the CDMX Government Palace

The President of the Political Coordination Council (Jucopo) of the Senate of the Republic, Ricardo Montreal Ávila, and the head of government of Mexico City, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, met at the Government Palace in the country’s capital to address issues relating to the process of selecting the candidate of the National Regeneration Movement (Morena) for the presidency of the Republic.

Through his social networks, the coordinator of the cherry party in the Upper House shared a video where he could see the two corcholatas – aspirants to the property of the federal executive – visit the facilities from the seat of government, guided by the president, in addition to showing a hug and a kiss on the cheek as a synonym of farewell.

The recording was accompanied by a text in which the senator emphasized that it was a friendly meeting, where Diploma and savoir-vivre were privileged, this after it became common knowledge that there would have been good relations between the two, despite belonging to the same political party.
