Brasil-RS and Avenida drew 1-1

Closed a 1-1 draw between Brasil-RS and Avenida at the Bento Freitas stadium, for date 9 of the Brasil – Gaucho Championship 2023 tournament.

The hosts started to win with a goal from Da Silva in the 15th minute of the first half, while through Carlos Henrique the visitor leveled the game after a few minutes.

Da Silva rocked the stadium with his definition, in the 15th minute of the first leg. After an individual move over the center, the striker placed it at the left post and below. Impossible for the goalkeeper!

With 8 shots on target, 3 on the post and 9 outside, Avenida suffered at the Bento Freitas stadium. Although they had more shots, Brazil-RS failed to claim victory.

Brazil-RS striker Da Silva squandered a chance to take the lead after missing a penalty in the 94th minute of the second half.

Carlos Henrique was the party figure. The Avenida striker scored 1 goal and finished the opposite goal 3 times.

Da Silva was also important. The Brasil-RS striker scored 1 goal and touched the opposing goal 7 times.

The match stood out for its intensity and the faults committed during the match. There were several warned: Patrick, Jessé, Da Silva and Marcão.

Brazil-RS will travel to São Luiz the following day. Likewise, Avenida will play as a visitor against São José-RS.
