Mexico City’s Secretariat for Citizen Security (SSC) on Tuesday suspended the two police officers who freed Yian “N”, the subject accused of sexually assaulting singer Heidy Infante, granddaughter of legendary actor Pedro Infante.
This was confirmed by the head of the unit, Omar García Harfuch, after an event at the premises of the Metropolitan Police Unit of Guerreros (UPM), where he recognized the policewomen.

We will file a complaint and we will arrest him, of course.”
He added that the institution’s internal affairs department became aware of the events that took place on March 5 during an anniversary event of Mercado Escuadron 201.

According to the singer, police elements arrested Yian “N” and quickly put him on patrol with the intention of protecting him from possible lynching due to people’s dissatisfaction with what happened.
