The President of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO) recently published a photo of the alleged appearance of an aluxe near the construction of the Mayan train.

Following your comment, Stephane Colbert presented a video edited for the occasion, the same in which the president would have addressed a message to the public about the sighting of the aluxe.

The montage of the audiovisual material opens with the flag of Mexico being waved, later López Obrador can be seen speaking in front of the camera and supposedly recounting the encounter with the leprechaun, who, according to the contents of the comedy, would have rummaged through the garbage and also kissed the chef.

“He kissed me with his teeth and I think his magic happened to me,” says the narrating voice in the video.

The presenter’s content quickly transcended and was picked up from Mexico. In many cases, it was members of the opposition to the current government who lashed out at the Tabasco man because of his mention on the show.

This is the case of the deputy of the National Action Party (PAN), Javier Lozano and the political scientist Denise Dresserwho dedicated sour comments.

As the former PAN lawmaker called the president a “global disgrace,” the writer mockingly wrote:
