CD Numancia has trusted a man of the house. After the dismissal of Manix Mandiola as coach of the first team, the soriano Alex Huerta will be the new coach of the team until the end of the season. Alex Huerta has been the second coach of the first team in the last two seasons and knows the squad to seek a more positive change of course in the Soria team.

José Alejandro Huerta Romero (Soria, July 11, 1981) is a technician trained in the lower categories of CD Numancia, as he has been linked to the Soria club for more than twelve years. He has been coach of Juvenil B numantino for four seasonsDuring another four he directed the Juvenil A in the Honor Division and the subsidiary for another three seasons. In one of them he played the play for promotion to Second Division B. The 2019-20 season made the leap to the rojillo first team, being the second coach of Luis Carrión.

With the incorporation of Alex Huerta as first coach, subsidiary coach Pablo Ayuso will be Numancia’s second coach. Pablo Ayuso joins the staff of the first team as second coach, so Carlos Ortega, Numancia B’s assistant coach, becomes, on an interim basis, the coach of the Numancia Third Division subsidiary. Alex Huerta will coach Numancia until the end of this season 20-21 and will be presented this Tuesday to the media from 12:30 pm in the Los Pajaritos press room.
