USA.- The YouTube company has reported that in order to favor the well-being of content creators, the platform has decided to hide the number of those who decide to show their disagreement or dislike with the videos.
YouTube was among the first to give the option “hand down” and now it has proposed to put an end to one of the indicators considered most harmful. As the platform commented on its social networks, it has decided to carry out a test hiding the number of ‘dislikes’.
YouTube is testing different designs to hide the ‘I don’t like’ counter: in principle, the thumbs down icon would appear without any number underneath; quite the opposite of the number of ‘likes’, which would remain public.
