WhatsApp launches voice states: what they are, where they are heard and how to use them

WhatsApp has a new update with which the voice status function is released. Know what it is, how it works and the step by step to use them

The new update of the WhatsApp system has brought with it a novelty that is attracting the attention of users and that is that now the app will allow you to publish statuses using voice recordings, just as you use them in your private chats.
In order to share a voice status, you will find a new button in the shape of a microphone on the status section screen that is located in the lower right part; In the same way, you will notice that a mini voice player appears, similar to the one in the conversation bubble in a chat, in the central part of the screen, every time the status has been recorded.

Those who are interested in doing the test, the only thing WhatsApp users need to do is follow the same steps when generating a text status and check if the extra button to generate the audio already appears.
WhatsApp voice statuses have no differences with respect to text statuses, they can be deleted before being published if the user is not satisfied with the result and they are automatically deleted after 24 hours of publication and can be deleted prematurely.

In addition, these publications are encrypted, so it is also possible to select the people who can listen to them and who cannot.

The only requirement to access voice statuses is that the contacts have the most recent version of the beta version of the compatible application for iOS, although some Android users can already access it, also in its beta test version from Google Play Store.
At the moment, the new WhatsApp status function remains a beta feature, but it is already being rolled out to more users, so people with an iOS device could access it in the following weeks or months as there is no date. launch date globally.

Some Android users can already see a “Hold to record” label when entering the status compose option, but the new button doesn’t appear, so they will have to wait longer for voice statuses to appear for them. .
