WhatsApp has become one more element of our routines. Along with breakfast, shower or work, an application that was born to connect us with our contacts has crept in, but which has extended its functions to a far beyond.
In fact, from time to time, it is common to reveal the odd trick that its users have been claiming for a long time. Or simply that no one knew it existed. In any case, the reality is undeniable: we love these advances, you just have to discover them. These are five of them.
Read messages without connecting
You are not the only one: there are times when you do not want to appear online, but you want to read that conversation that causes so much intrigue.
In those cases, there is a most effective trick: activate the airplane mode. In this way, no one will know that you have read the messages and you will be able to review them all without having an internet connection.
The messaging application does not allow the use of third-party apps that help to achieve this objective, so using them would block your account.
So what can I do? You simply have to follow the following steps: disable data and remove WiFi connection to enter to respond to the chats you want. In this way, the other person is prevented from seeing you connected and writing, as well as it prevents the time of the last connection from being updated.
Once the app is closed and the network reestablished, your messages will be sent without any further data transpiring. This idea, in addition, is useful for cases in which you want to read an alert or listen to an audio without showing that you have already done it and without the double appearing blue ticks.
Transcribe the audios
There are times when it is impossible to listen to an audio: work, classes, meetings. In those cases, most people choose to wait. However, the reality is that they could well end the mystery thanks to the following trick: it is possible to transcribe such content in a matter of seconds.
To do this, simply download an external application. In the case of Android it is Transcriber for WhatsApp, while for iOS you can use Transcrypto audio transcriber.
Recover inadvertently deleted conversations
Many chats have photographs, data, videos that we are interested in saving for some reason or other. You could say that they are also a stronghold of memories. Therefore, if a mistake has led you to delete it, do not worry, can be recovered without any problem. But you have to hurry.
There is a trick to do it despite not having the Google Drive backup installed. In these cases, we must bear in mind that the app itself, by default, always makes a local copy of each and every one of our chats.
This is done daily at 02:00 hours, in such a way that the files are saved directly in the internal storage of the terminal. Although with one condition: for one week.
For mobile Android:
- Open your WhatsApp application
- Go to the upper right corner of the application
- Tap on Settings to open all options
- and a Chats
- Choose the option Backup copy
For mobile iPhone
- Tap on the tab Setting
- Go to option Chats
- Tap on Backup copy
In both cases you will see that at the top of that screen it indicates the date of the last backup. Then, just delete the WhatsApp application and reinstall it from the Play Store or the App Store.
Record a call
Without going into the personal or professional reasons that lead someone to carry out this action, the first thing we have to know is that it is possible both on mobile phones Android like in iPhone. Although with some different nuance.
- In the case of an Android phone, the process is very simple: once the call is connected, you just have to put the speaker on, go back to the home screen and activate the voice recorder. In such a way that, after finishing the conversation, it will be enough to stop it and save the audio file.
- On the other hand, if it is an iPhone, the process is a little more complicated: this operating system does not allow the recorder to be activated at the same time as a call is made, so you have to look for another option. In this case, it becomes essential to have a Mac computer to carry it out: we have to connect both devices and then open QuickTime. Next, you have to click on Archive and New audio recording. We select the option iPhone and we hit the record button.
