That being said, if you really don’t have to decide what color to take, BMW might have a perfect solution for you. During CES 2022, the German brand unveiled the BMW iX Flow. This is a concept car that offers the very surprising feature of having an electronic exterior paint (e-ink) allowing it to switch from black to white and vice versa simply by pressing a button.

For those who do not know, e-ink is the technology found in e-readers. Unlike more traditional screens, this technology is very energy efficient, and it is precisely for this reason that BMW has chosen to use it. According to the German brand, the iX Flow has 500 horsepower with a range of 480 km.
And in the words of Stella Clarke, project manager for this BMW iX Flow, “it gives drivers the freedom to express different aspects of their personality or even their joy to change their appearance and redefine their desires every time they drive. ‘they take place in their car. A bit like fashion or social media status, the vehicle becomes the expression of different moods and circumstances in everyday life.”
