Sarfaraz Khan, one of many promising young Indians, has stepped up for Mumbai, scoring 134 runs from 243 balls, in the ongoing Ranji Trophy final against Madhya Pradesh. After reaching one hundred, he pulled off the signature step of Sidhu Moose Wala, who was shot dead on May 29.

Sarfaraz Able to set the end of the Trofeo Ranji 2021/22 on fire on Thursday at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. The 24-year-old, who has been in impressive form for Mumbai, scored his fourth hundred of the season in the biggest game against Madhya Pradesh. He scored 134 of 243 balls, and based on that, Mumbai racked up 374 in the early innings after opting to bat.

After getting his hundred, Sarfaraz performed the signature step of well-known Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala, who was shot dead on May 29. In Chinnaswamy, where Sarfaraz used to play Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in his early years in the IPL, Sarfaraz hit his thigh and pointed his finger skyward in tribute. It was a nice gesture from him, and the fans were delighted in the stadium after seeing him do that.
