Colombian Luis Díaz, Liverpool’s new signing in the winter market, said in his first interview as a ‘Red’ player that one of the reasons for joining Liverpool is that Liverpool’s style of play team will help you.

The attacker will become the first Colombian in history to play for Liverpool, after they paid 45 million, plus 15 in variables, to Porto.

“When I could and I had time, I always tried to watch the important Liverpool games, because they are very entertaining. For me, it’s the perfect team and my decision to come was based a bit on that. I know that the style of play is going to benefit me and it is going to help me a lot,” Diaz told the club’s media.

“This is a very important moment for me and I have to work 100% because I want to be available to help and to give everything on the pitch,” he added.

“It is no secret that the Premier League is one of the best leagues in the world and I have followed the football here since I was a little boy. Liverpool is a great club, a reference in this sport. That’s why Liverpool was always my choice,” Diaz added.

After landing in Liverpool this Friday, the attacker traveled to the team’s sports city to meet his coach, Jürgen Klopp, with whom he merged into a hug, and to take the protocol photographs with the Liverpool shirt.
