Marta García and Amna Al Qubaisi made history on Saturday (29th) as the first winners of the F1 Academy, in the triple round at the Red Bull Ring.
The Prema’s Spaniard triumphed in the two races in which she took pole-position, races 1 and 3, while the MP Motorsport’s Emirati driver did better in race 2, with the grid reversed.
In the first race, Garcia left her opponents behind right at the start and won easily. The second place would have been Nerea Martí, from Campos, but the Spanish driver was disqualified from the race.
