Boston Red Sox manager Alex Cora said Eduardo Rodriguez is his first choice to start Game 4 of the Division Series against the Tampa Bay Rays, ESPN reported.

The Venezuelan Rodríguez opened the first game of the confrontation against the Florida team, on Thursday, October 7, in the MLB postseason in 2021.

In that first game of the series, Rodriguez spent 1.2 innings on the mound allowing two earned runs on 2 hits. The fourth duel will take place this Monday.

The red-legged ones are up 2-1 in the confrontation against the Rays and one more victory classifies them to the Championship Series, the previous instance to the World Series in the Major Leagues.
