Doncic had 33 points, six rebounds and eight assists and Spencer Dinwiddie and Tim Hardaway Jr. each hit five 3-pointers in the Mavericks’ sweeping victory over the Suns in last year’s replay of the Western Conference semifinals.

The Mavericks supported Doncic with an excellent team performance and exposed the Suns in which Devin Booker did not go beyond eleven points, in a new game without the injured Chris Paul.

The Suns remain leaders in the West with a record of 16-8, but could be caught up in command by the New Orleans Pelicans (15-8), while the Mavs are ninth (12-11).

RAPTORS 110 – CELTICS 116

Without Al Horford or Malcolm Brogdon, the Celtics prevailed in Toronto led by a double-double of 31 points and twelve rebounds from Jayson Tatum to maintain a solid lead in the East with a record of 20-5.

Jaylen Brown flirted with the triple double with her 18 points, eight rebounds and eight assists and soured the great night of Pascal Siakam, who finished with 29 points, eight rebounds and seven assists.

HORNETS 117 – CLIPPERS 119

Kawhi Leonard and Paul George returned after two weeks out and led the Clippers to a hard-fought victory at the Hornets’ field. Leonard scored 16 points and hit the game-winner with 1.4 seconds left in his first game of the year away from Los Angeles.

George scored 19 points for the Clippers, who had lost three of their last four road games. Kelly Oubre Jr led the Hornets with 28 points.

WARRIORS 104 – PACERS 112

Andrew Nembhard is still flying in California and, after scoring a spectacular triple at the buzzer last week to defeat the Los Angeles Lakers, he overwhelmed the Warriors with 31 points, eight rebounds and thirteen assists.

The Pacers shut down Steph Curry, who didn’t go over eight points on 3-of-17 shooting. Klay Thompson scored 28 points, with eight triples, and Jordan Poole contributed 23 points, but they were left alone on a bad night for the Warriors.

The Pacers ended their thirteen-game losing streak and are fourth in the East (13-11), while the Warriors are tenth in the West (13-12).

MAGIC 102 – BUCKS 109

After resting this Saturday in the victory against the Hornets, the star trio of the Bucks, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Jrue Holiday and Khris Middleton, returned to coincide on the track in the victory in the field of the Magic of the Italian Paolo Banchero.

Giannis sealed a double double of 34 points and thirteen rebounds, while Jrue Holiday bordered on a triple double with 17 points, twelve assists and eight rebounds.

Difficult day for Middleton, who did not go beyond five points with a modest one of eleven in shots. The Spaniard Serge Ibaka was not part of the team that competed in Orlando.

GRIZZLIES 101 – HEAT 93

The Spanish Santi Aldama sealed a double double of 18 points and 10 rebounds in the victory of the Memphis Grizzlies against the Miami Heat (101-93).

Aldama, a starter in the quintet of some Grizzlies orphans of Ja Morant and Desmond Bane, spent 33.37 minutes on the track in Memphis and added to his 18 points and ten rebounds two assists, one steal and one shot. The Spaniard had a brilliant eight of twelve shots and also connected two triples in five attempts.

It is the second double double of the year for Aldama, who had also scored 18 points and grabbed eleven rebounds on October 20 against the New York Knicks.

ROCKETS 132 – 76ERS 123

The 76ers gave up on their visit to the Rockets after two overtimes despite Joel Embiid’s 39 points and Tobias Harris’ 27, in James Harden’s return to Houston, with 21 points, four rebounds and seven assists.

The Rockets were led by 27 points from Jalen Green and 24 from Kevin Porter. In addition, rookie Jabari Smith contributed a double double of 16 points and eleven rebounds, with three triples.

HAWKS 114 – THUNDER 121

The Hawks blew a fourteen-point lead in the third quarter and suffered their fourth loss in their last six games against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Shai Gilgeous Alexander shone again for the Thunder with 35 points, no three-pointers, six rebounds, five assists and two steals.
