Twitter works in a very similar function to Instagram’s best friends .

According to information reported by reverse engineering expert Alessandro Paluzzi, the social network is preparing a function eventually called Twitter Flock (friends+block). With this feature, users will have the ability to share some tweets with only 150 nearby followers that they select.

As it happens with Instagram, only the people that we have added to our select group will be able to see the specific tweets that we want not to show to the rest. In the event that a user adds us to their “Flock” group, the social network will show us a notice indicating that we can see this tweet because the author has added us to their Flock.

At the moment it is unknown when this new feature will be officially launched, but it may not take too long, since they have been working on it since last summer. In addition to Flocks, Twitter is currently working on developing more privacy-related features.

It recently launched Twitter Blue in the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. This is a monthly subscription that gives users exclusive access to premium features and app customizations for a fee. In the United States, Twitter Blue costs $2.99 per month, a price that will vary depending on the country in which we live.

In September of last year, the platform also launched Twitter Communities, conversation spaces associated with a specific topic that, in addition to being managed by moderators, require users to be previously invited in order to participate.
