Enrique Chalar, better known as Pil Trafa, died this Friday, August 13 in Lima after suffering respiratory arrest at age 62.

Trafa is the emblematic leader of the Argentine punk band “Los Violadores, creators of songs like “One, two, ultraviolent”, “Communiqué 166”, “Force of the Sektor” and more.

Although Trafa was the vocalist of “Los Violadores” for several years, now he was in another musical project with the Pilsen band.

Exactly it was the band that shared the news on social networks. “It is with deep sorrow that we regret to announce the passing of our beloved leader, Enrique Chalar. Pil physically left us this afternoon suddenly at his home in Lima, Peru, as a result of a cardiorespiratory arrest, at the age of 62.” They pointed.

“He leaves us a warrior, a pioneer of Latin American punk and underground, an enlightened lyricist, spokesman for an entire generation, a fighter and a tireless captain of a thousand battles. There are no words enough to express our regret.” They added.
