In one of the latest videos from the world-renowned content creator, PewDiePie shared a recent tweet from Daily Dose Of Internet that showed a text conversation between the two from 10 years ago. Daily Dose, which now has 11 million subscribers on YouTube and is operated by Jason Gryniewicz, told PewDiePie that he believed he would become famous one day.
PewDiePie, who at the time only had about 40,000 subscribers, thought nothing of it, but still appreciated the feeling of anyone who sent him such messages. “I never believed them, but it still made me feel like I was continuing my career,” he said in his video.
What really puzzled PewDiePie in the end was how long ago this whole situation was. When he saw that the message between the two had a timestamp from April 2011, it suddenly became clear to him how far back that was. “Yes, ten years ago. Holy s *** dude. I was blown away by how long it was,” PewDiePie continued.

Even if PewDiePie himself couldn’t foresee his success all those years ago, it seems that many others suspected early on that he would make it big. That being said, hardly anyone could have predicted the meteoric rise the PewDiePie channel has seen over the years. PewDiePie now has a total of 109 million subscribers on YouTube and has a fortune in the tens of millions.
