The marriage of Ricardo Montaner and Marlene Rodríguez are proof that lasting love does exist.
The couple will celebrate three decades of marriage next year, in which they have kept the flame of love alive despite the hectic life that the profession of artist entails.
The couple, one of the longest-running in the entertainment industry, celebrated their 29th anniversary of marriage last August.
“… And I stayed by her side … and I have lived here for 29 years, able to do anything for her … ask her again in marriage … do it back, like every 5”, have been one of the many declarations of love of Montaner to his wife in the networks.
“She is my present, my past and my future … nothing is like that, only love, nothing equals her, only herself … Nobody cares for me and adores me, contemplates me and makes me feel beautiful like her … There are no bad guys next to you plans and next to me you made me a good man… What would have happened to me, without the love and the outrageous laughter of the woman in my life? ”, concluded the singer.
After his first divorce, the singer met, in a filming studio, the Caracas-born filmmaker with Cuban origins, Marlene Rodríguez, sister of the president of the Sonorodven company and daughter of the main shareholder of the Venevisión television network.
On August 30, 1989 and to fulfill a dream they had had since they were dating, they got married on a beach called Puerto La Cruz in Venezuela. The ceremony took place in the sand barefoot and surrounded by friends. From this marriage three children were born Ricardo Andrés, Mauricio Sebastián and Eva Luna.
Marlene has found in social networks a space to show the immensity of her love for Ricardo Montaner and his family, as well as her memories. Among them, Montaner’s wife made reference to her grandmother, who was responsible for teaching her and her son how to eat Cuban stews.
About his secret to maintaining a marriage for so many years, Ricardo Montaner revealed a few years ago to the Nuevo Herald:
“To achieve the success of a relationship you have to stay in tune with the couple, and although each has their own vision of things, the most important thing is the coinciding points that make them move forward.”
The couple, who reside in Miami, are very close and enjoy activities together, such as going to the beach.
“Faith in God is our main coincidence, the second is the conviction that we are united for life and the third is that we work in the same direction,” Montaner said in that interview.
