Vivi Torres expressed her gratitude for the affection she has received following Christian Figueiredo’s sudden death
Vivi Torres, who announced the death of her husband, bodybuilder Christian Figueiredo, at the age of 29, used her Instagram on Wednesday (18) to thank the affection and messages she has received after the sudden death of her partner and also to tell how she is feeling after what happened.
“Thank you for this reminder @iamrecturtle, I confess I’m still not able to watch and see photos, but with time I know that will change. I repost everything I receive, but it’s still very difficult not to fix my gaze on my love”, wrote the widow in the caption of a video in which she appears talking about her husband.
Christian Franco Figueiredo died last Monday (16) at the age of 29. A bodybuilder in the Open Bodybuilding category of the Darkness team, the athlete’s cause of death was not disclosed.
On Instagram, Viviane Torres, the boy’s wife, shared the news. “It is with great sadness that I come to tell you that God has taken my love, Christian Figueiredo, to be with him today,” she announced. “A husband, son, brother, athlete, friend, who left an incredible legacy”.
The wake took place on Tuesday (17) at 10.30am at the Valle dos Reis Cemetery in Taboão da Serra, São Paulo. The funeral took place at 14:30.
On August 15, when Christian turned 29, Viviane declared herself with a post on Instagram: “You have officially become a professional athlete and doing what you love to do the most. Only the two of us know how hard it was to get here, how many difficulties we faced, how many resignations we made but we never let go of our hands.”
