Valentina Boscardin, an 18-year-old Brazilian model, died last weekend from complications related to the coronavirus . The young woman was the daughter of Marcia Boscardin, a famous driver from Brazil , so her death shocked public opinion in that country.

It was precisely Valentina’s mother who was in charge of giving the tragic news of her daughter’s death on social networks. “Mourning. It is with much pain that I say goodbye to the love of my life. Goodbye, Valentina Boscardin Mendes , may God receive you with open arms, ”Marcia wrote on her Instagram account.

The farewell was accompanied by the image of the woman with her daughter, and the publication carried the legend “without words” , accompanied by an emoji of a heart. “ My daughter, I will love you forever . An angel goes up to heaven” , the popular Brazilian host also wrote.

According to what the model’s friends reported, Valentina died in the early hours of Sunday 9 in a hospital in São Paulo , after contracting covid-19 , a condition that would have led to thrombosis and pneumonia . According to the Brazilian medium Marie Claire , the model had received two doses of the coronavirus vaccine , and had no previous pathology.

As a model, Valentina worked within the staff of the Ford Models agency and was preparing to shine in an international career, following in the footsteps of her mother Marcia , who had modeled in her youth , and before being a driver, for top brands such as Givenchy, Christian Dior, Valentino and Armani, among others.

Many friends of the young woman and her mother left heartfelt farewells on social networks. “ What sad news, may God relieve this pain ”, posted presenter Daniela Albuquerque. Luiza Tomé, a renowned Brazilian soap opera actress , addressed a message to the girl’s mother: “ My mother’s heart breaks, Marcia . May God give you strength to go through this great pain. While Ticiane Pinheiro , another popular driver from Rio, wrote: “ Strength, Marcia . May God comfort your heart.”
