The princess Elizabeth of Brabant, heir to the throne of Belgium, will begin her studies in History and Politics this fall at the Lincoln College of the University of Oxford (United Kingdom), the Royal Palace reported on Tuesday.

As of October 2021, Her Royal Highness Princess Elizabeth, Duchess of Brabant, will study at Lincoln College, University of Oxford.” Said Palace in a statement, in which it also explained that the future student had “successfully” concluded the admission tests in a three-year “History and Politics” program.

The Royal House noted that the princess “already knows the United Kingdom well”, since in 2020 earned her international baccalaureate from UWC Atlantic College in Wales, the same center where Princess Leonor, heir to the throne of Spain, is going to study this course.

Likewise, it stated that Isabel “will return regularly to Belgium” and “will remain involved in Belgian public life” through activities in which she participates alone, with her father, King Felipe of the Belgians, or with her family.

Last July, the princess completed the last phase of her military training, after completing the aforementioned international baccalaureate. She is also fluent in French and German, also official in Belgium, as well as English.
