More and more public figures are taking a step forward and are not hiding their mental health problems. The last one to do it was the presenter Paula Vazquez, who has revealed that she needs to make professional breaks from time to time and that she has learned to give affection only to those who correspond.

Paula Vazquez has given an interview to Vanity Fair in which she reveals that years ago she went through a depression that was made worse by years of neglecting it, overturned with “everything else” rather than with herself.

“My hair had fallen out and I had all the symptoms of depression, but I was not aware that I had it,” explains the charismatic presenter, that “Opened her eyes” and thanks to the professional help she received, she learned not to “put affection where they didn’t give it to me, something I did constantly”.

One of the decisions that Vázquez is most proud of is that she has learned “to let only people who love me well be in my life.”

Despite being in the process of recovery, Vázquez acknowledges that she is not yet at one hundred percent and that she sometimes suffers from anxiety attacks, a signal she uses to make a stop. “It’s when I stop, real life overtakes me, I don’t like it”, she explain.

Currently, the presenter triumphs after the premiere of Celebrity Bake Off Spain, an Amazon Prime Video program that she presents with Brays Efe and in which Chenoa, Andrés Velencoso, Soraya, Adriana Torrebejano, Yolanda Ramos, Pablo Rivero, James Rhodes, Iturralde González, Paula Gonu, Joan Capdevila, Esperanza Aguirre and Esty Quesada.
