Luis Carlos Contreras, father of María Fernanda Contreras Ruíz, indicated that the man detained in Coahuila for his alleged participation in the femicide of his daughter, was a former co-worker of the young woman.

“I am known from some reference, He was more than anything a former co -worker, whom I personally never met, like the rest of his friends,” said Luis Carlos Contreras.

“Only because his eyes are covered, otherwise he would recognize him 100 percent,” the man assured in an interview with Azucena Uresti.

He explained that he never saw him in person, but his daughter had posted photos on social media with her colleagues at the office.

Apparently Raúl Alfredo “N” owed money to María Fernanda and on the day of her disappearance and subsequent murder they had arranged to see each other.

“This person owed my daughter money and that day the adjustment was going to be made, I know what she had stayed with that person to go see … that person was going to see a car and she was going to accompany him,” assured Carlos Contreras , who did not specify the amount of the debt.
