Luis Miguel’s brother reacts to singer’s courtship with Paloma Cuevas

During the presentation of a drink, Alejandro Basteri finally agreed to comment on his brother’s romance; he also spoke about Michelle Salas’ wedding.

During the presentation of his mezcal, Fridu, inspired by the painter Frida Kahlo, Alejandro Basteri agreed to talk to the media about various topics, but what caught the most attention was that he finally dedicated a few words to the romance between his brother, Luis Miguel, and Paloma Cuevas.

It is worth remembering that at the end of last year, in November, Alejandro got upset with the press when he was questioned about the love situation of the so-called Sol: “I am not a spokesperson”, he said on that occasion. That’s why the accessibility he showed in the presentation of his drink caused surprise.

What did Alejandro Basteri say about Luis Miguel?

First, when asked about his relationship with his immediate family, he said: “I think very good things are coming, everything that is being achieved now in general, in the family…. I think that the family is more important because that is the basis for everything; that the professional things and what you see that we do are of the highest quality. Everything goes together, as a whole.

“Don’t pay attention to what they say, everything is perfectly fine, there are just people who make things up,” he responded after a reporter asked him about his ticket for the concerts of El Sol.

Likewise, regarding the wedding of Michelle Salas, his niece, he commented: “I am very happy. Once again: in the family we are all happy, things are going as they should be, thank God we are all healthy”.

Then, a journalist made a remark about Luis Miguel’s sentimental situation: “We had not seen him so much in love”.

To which Alex for the first time agreed to say a few words about his brother’s relationship: “I see him incredibly well, I mean, we all see him, we can’t fool ourselves, and I’m glad he’s so well, just like everyone else, we all have a moment…. I think we are moving forward in a progressively positive way”.

“We have already matured, we are on a much calmer path, more confident, more convinced of what we are doing,” added Alejandro Basteri.
“I think we are all doing well and hopefully, as you can see, we can take the positive from here,” he concluded in his meeting with the press.
