The Puerto Rican singer Kany García, coinciding with Gay Pride Day this Sunday, June 27, she shared some never-before-published photos of her wedding with her wife, Jocelyn Troche, on December 25, 2019.
“Pride to hold your hand, to call you a wife, recognizing the struggle that all our collective and ‘allies’ carried for years to make it so. Thank you for every day being my conscience and that our life so full of privileges never clouds our eyes”, the singer-songwriter highlighted on her Instagram profile.
“If not that it serves as a bridge, open doors and windows and let us know that we must continue to hold pick and shovel until we achieve the same rights for our entire beautiful community, from whom we have so much to learn, educate ourselves daily and hug every second. Loving becomes urgent,” added the Puerto Rican.
