Rebel Wilson and Ramona Agruma chose to celebrate their wedding in Italy because of the special significance that country has in their relationship.
Actress Rebel Wilson has said “I do” in an intimate ceremony with her partner, Ramona Agruma, two years and three months after they announced their relationship, in June 2022.
The wedding of Wilson, 44, and Agruma, 40, took place Saturday in Sardinia, Italy, a close source exclusively told People magazine.
The choice of Italy as the location for the wedding has a special meaning for the newlyweds, as it was in that country where they spent their first vacation as an official couple.
Rebel Wilson and Ramona Agruma went public with their romance in June 2022, after the “Senior Year” star ended her four-month relationship with Jacob Busch.
“I thought I was looking for a Disney prince…but maybe what I really needed all along was a Disney princess #loveislove,” Wilson wrote on social media.
Their relationship was cemented in February 2023 when the comedian proposed to the entrepreneur in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle in Disneyland, California.
“We said Yes! Thank you Tiffany And Co. for the stunning ring and to Bob Iger and the amazing team at Disneyland for pulling off this magical surprise!” she expressed on Instagram.
Throughout the past few months, the couple has maintained a positive public profile, showing up together at events and sharing details of their family life, especially following the arrival of Royce Lillian, Wilson’s daughter born via surrogacy in November 2022.
In a past interview for ‘Australia’s The Morning Show’, the couple revealed that the baby’s arrival had been “life-changing” for them.
“It’s like you start thinking about someone else instead of yourself, priorities change,” they said. “When you think, ‘Oh, I’d like to go get a massage’ or something like that, instead you think, ‘No, I just want to spend time with her and be home,’” they added.
The wedding comes on the heels of Rebel Wilson’s recent directorial debut with “The Deb,” a film that premiered Sept. 14 during the Toronto International Film Festival.
