Jacky spoke of Álvarez during an interview with People in Spanish magazine where he shared one of the most difficult scenes he had to do on the small screen, where he assured that thanks to these types of productions, he felt like a “Hollywood heroine”.
“I had to do scenes that I really enjoyed. My sister, Karlita Álvarez, rest assured, I was going to have a baby (in fiction), there was a tremendous storm in Tabasco, so I couldn’t get there, my car broke down, I got out, I got muddy, I ended up swimming in the river, arrived at the farm where we lived with those gigantic fans, simulated rain ”, narrated the actress.
After remembering Karla, she was questioned about how she took the news of the actress’s death, that November 15, 2013: “It was a shock, it was very hard,” commented Jacky, who described her as a very happy person: “ Karla was such a beautiful person, so sentimental. He would arrive and as soon as he saw you he would talk to you and he wanted to hug you ”.
