In a matter of a few years, Ibai Llanos has become a celebrity in our country. The ‘caster’ is a good example of the extent to which the phenomenon of ‘influencers’, ‘streamers’ and other professionals of social networks or virtual platforms has grown, which today can reach become true stars, with millions of followers and a breathtaking financial gain.

Ibai was the last guest on ‘Lo de Évole’, the Catalan journalist’s talk show. And throughout the conversation, which was broadcast last night on La Sexta, both played a good number of different styles, such as the recent controversy of the ‘youtubers’ who are leaving for Andorra, their anxiety attacks or financial difficulties that your family went through years ago.

In addition, the Basque tackled one of the topics that arouses the most interest in the general public: the income that they can get per month from their broadcasts on Twitch.

The young man explained that he has around 40,000 subscribers on the platform. Under normal conditions, subscribers pay $5 a month, of which Twitch takes 50%. But Ibai, as he has qualified himself, has a special contract that allows you to pocket 70% of each installment.

Therefore, the earnings of the ‘caster’ are around $120,000 per month. An amount to which should be added, later, the extra salary he receives for his advertising collaborations. The figure has checked even Évole himself, who could not help admitting that it seemed “outrageous” to him.

Ibai admitted that it was a “tremendous” number, although he stressed that he believes that he is in the ‘Top 3’ of the world. And the thing could go further, since this is what he said about what he hopes in 2021: “I will win very well.”

Regarding his expenses, Ibai has also been sincere: “I save a lot. For example, I can’t buy expensive clothes. I don’t have a license and I don’t have cars or houses either. But I spend a lot to eat well.” he explained. Where he is givingg a significant amount is in the rent.

And is that, currently, the Basque is living and working in the house that belonged to Samuel Eto’o. “This costs money,” he admitted, “about 14,000-15,000 euros per month”.
