Raphy Pina is denied to reduce his prison sentence. The founder of Pina Records and partner of Dominican singer Natti Natasha will have to serve his 41-month sentence for illegal possession of firearms. While there was hope that he could get out early, the Federal Court of San Juan, Puerto Rico, just determined that he will have to serve his full sentence.

Rafael Antonio Pina Nieves – the real name of the Puerto Rican music producer and businessman – was sentenced to three years and five months in prison by Judge Francisco Besosa. Pina will have to pay a fine of $150,000 and will have three more years on probation after his release from prison.

Pina will be released on January 21, 2025, according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons. This is undoubtedly sad news for the producer’s family, his grown children, and his fiancée Natti Natasha, mother of his baby Vida Isabelle.

Weeks ago, the Dominican singer expressed her illusion on Instagram that her partner’s sentence would be reduced. “Happiness and gratitude in our hearts with everyone who has supported us since day one. soon we will have our baby doll at home!” she wrote.

The “Algarete” performer – who recently swept the stage alongside Becky G at Coachella – recently posted on her social networks a photo of a drawing that Raphy Pina apparently made for her. “My baby always surprising with details. There are still pure loves that we miss. On Thursday I will surprise you,” said the singer.
