The King Harald of Norway is low. This has been confirmed by the Nordic Royal House in addition to pointing out that the monarch, who will turn 85 on February 21, has symptoms of cold and will be absent from official duties for the next few days.

In his absence, it will be Haakon Principle who will act as regent. It is not the first time that the prince has replaced his father in recent years due to ill health. The last time in March of last year when he had surgery on his knee.

The last time King Harald was seen in an official act was on the 21st, at the Cabinet meeting attended for the first time by his granddaughter, Princess Ingrid Alexandra, who has already reached the majority.

Today, Prince Haakon has a cabinet meeting at the royal palace and on Monday he will also receive an audience with the head of the Armed Forces Operational Headquarters.
