The Day of the Dead is a Mexican tradition that is celebrated on November 1 and 2 in which the dead are honored. In the midst of this festivity, the actress Florinda Meza turned to her social networks to remember her late husband, Roberto Gómez Bolaños.

Through an emotional message on her Instagram profile, the 72-year-old actress said that she sent flowers to her late husband.

“I remember you my beloved and I fill your home with flowers, because you filled my meadow with all your colors”, Chespirito’s widow wrote.

“Death does not exist if you live in my memory and my soul is not sad because you are in glory”, Meza added.

The actress’s message was accompanied by two photographs. In one it was possible to see the face of Roberto Gómez Bolaños, while in another the tombstone of the renowned actor was seen.

Bolaños passed away at the age of 85 on November 28, 2014 in Cancun, Mexico due to respiratory complications. The sad news was confirmed by his wife Florinda Meza through the social network Twitter.
