American comedian Craig Robinson had to suspend a show on Saturday night after a man opened fire at a comedy club in Charlotte (North Carolina) where he was going to perform, without that no one was hurt.

“There is a person shooting at the comedy club. That’s why we were evacuated,” the comedian told his followers via Instagram. Robinson further explained that at the time of the shooting, there was a concert by the band Big Time Rush in the same establishment.

“I’m fine. I’m safe. The situation was crazy. I was in the dressing room and they told us: ‘Everyone out,'” said the comedian.

The local Charlotte Police reported in a statement that a man brandished a firearm and then shot inside the premises, which was quickly evacuated.

The body assured that “there were no injuries and the suspect was arrested.”

The debate on the possession of weapons is very present in the United States after recent mass shootings such as the racist attack in a supermarket in Buffalo (New York), the massacre in a school in Uvalde (Texas) and the massacre in the parade for the Day of Independence in Highland Park, Illinois.
