Christian Gálvez remembers the accident he suffered after separating from Almudena Cid

Christian Gálvez is one of the best-known presenters on the small screen, and although he does not usually appear in the headlines of the gossip press, last month the media focus was directed towards him as a result of his break with Almudena Cid, the woman with whom he has shared his life for a decade.

It was he himself who revealed this painful episode through his Instagram account. “On Friday, December 3, life, for one reason or another, stopped me. Playing a soccer game, I fell awkwardly with the misfortune of breaking my collarbone”, he began by recounting before his more than 220,000 followers.

But what hurt Christian Gálvez the most was the loss of the shirt of Toni Kroos, his favorite Real Madrid footballer, a gift from a friend of his with whom he was playing that day: “When I arrived at the Getafe hospital, they had to tear it to be able to proceed to the X-ray tests and assess when they would intervene”.

After the initial scare the one who was the presenter of ‘Pasapalabra’ now reflects and celebrates the beginning of a recovery process:

“Weeks later, and after the implantation of 12 titanium screws in the clavicle, I begin rehabilitation, I am happy and I know why I had to stop.”

In addition, Christian Gálvez has received a very special gift from his mother: “On his birthday, he gave me the shirt that I once lost. I have cried a lot, a mixture of sorrow and joy, but all gratitude.”

Taking into account this blip in health, and added to the sentimental break with Almudena Cid, It does not seem that Christian Gálvez has gone through his best streak.

In fact, sources close to the presenter assured at the time that he was quite downcast as a result of the separation, and surely his spectacular accident did not help him to raise his head at all. Now, the presenter faces the new year with optimism and willing to move forward.
