Chris Martin has revealed the reason he wanted to become a singer and play in a band.
The English artist explained during his visit to Kelly Clarkson’s talk show that it is the film ‘Back to the Future’, released in 1985, and more particularly the scene in which Michael J. Fox doing a cover of the title ‘Johnny B. Goode’ by Chuck Berry which made him want to join a band.
The lead singer of the band Coldplay said, “This scene is why I wanted to be in a band, you know what I mean? “
Moreover, the American actor took the stage with the British group in 2016 to play several titles from the film.
Regarding this concert, the performer of the title ‘My Universe’ said: “Michael J. Fox came and played a few songs from ‘Back to the Future’ with us. It was unbelievable. He came to play ‘Johnny B. Goode’, it was wonderful. “
