Carmen Salinas: Eugenio Derbez offers his support to the family of the Mexican actress

The difficult situation Carmen Salinas is going through has generated a chain of solidarity in the acting world, and there are several characters who have shown their support for the family of the Mexican actress, among them Eugenio Derbez.

Gustavo Briones, nephew of the popular ‘Carmelita’, revealed that the comedian is in constant communication with the family, and that he has offered his support to contribute to the recovery of the actress.

“Eugenio told me that he was at our orders and that whatever was offered to us we could count on him. I explained to him how things are and he said: ‘I’m at your service”, he commented.

REFUSAL OF TRANSFER TO ANOTHER HOSPITAL:

Briones also ruled out that Eugenio Derbez had proposed that Carmen Salinas be transferred by private plane to a hospital in the United States.

“We do not have to move it, we have received proposals to move it wherever we want from many people, even from the director of the Neurology Institute, who told us that it is at our service, but we explained to him and the doctors have already spoken and said that there is no reason move it, it is perfectly well attended and with what is necessary”, he said.

Carmen Salinas remains in a coma assisted with an artificial respirator after suffering a stroke. The outlook is bleak for the actress, who has presented a stationary evolution.
