It was King Carlos Gustavo who this morning announced the name of his new grandson, the third son of princes Carlos Felipe and Sofía of Sweden. The little one, born on March 26, is called Julian Herbert Folke, weighed 3,220 grams and measured 49 centimeters at birth. Subsequently, a religious service was held in his honor in the Palace church.

In addition, today the first official pose of the little one has been published. A tender image taken by Prince Carlos Felipe himself, in which the newborn is seen lying in his cuckoo.

The eighth grandson of the kings Carlos Gustavo and Silvia of Sweden has received the title of Duke of Halland and occupies the seventh position in the line of succession.
