“They owe me a change there at the hospital. I’m the VIP there, “said the singer with a laugh, who recounted the difficulties she went through to overcome the condition.
Mexican singer Alejandra Guzmán recalled the difficult moments she experienced as a result of the aesthetic treatment to increase the volume of her buttocks to which she underwent in 2009 and which almost cost her her life.
In an interview with fellow Mexican Yordi Rosado, the singer opened her heart and was honest about how difficult it was to overcome said treatment in which they placed a substance called methyl methacrylate , which severely affected her health.
“It has been a very hard fight, it has been a very long fight in which I have learned the curves, the straights and everything,” confessed Guzmán, daughter of two emblems of Mexican entertainment, Enrique Guzmán and Silvia Pinal .
The first surgical intervention that the interpreter underwent to try to remove the substance was in October 2009 and since then, Guzmán has had to undergo about 40 operations to gradually remove the polymer that drastically changed his life .
“I have a medical history that Wow! They must change me there at the hospital. I’m the VIP there, “said the singer with a laugh, who said that she is currently in stable health.
“I no longer feel bad. I feel that my body has almost nothing because they have sliced me one after another, but I love my scars, I love feeling good and now I think I accept myself more than before, now I love myself more than before, now I take care of myself more than before ”, Guzmán added.
The interpreter of hits such as “Please call” or “I was waiting for you” acknowledged that due to the desperation she experienced after the large number of surgeries to try to extract the substance from her body, she thought about giving up.
“I have a lot to be thankful for to be alive and to be well”, commented the singer. “Once I did speak to my father and that is why I put this skull in my ear here, because death would say: ‘Let’s go’, and I: ‘No’. I spoke to him and said, ‘Daddy, I want to throw in the towel, I’m already tired.’
Likewise, due to the complexity of removing the polymer from the singer’s skin, Guzmán acknowledged that he signed a document authorizing them to carry out “experiments” that would save his life.
“I sign. Do experiments with me, I will not accuse you if I die or anything, “said the interpreter of” Eternally Beautiful. ” “One of them [doctors] told me ‘what pants do you have’ and I said ‘yes sir, because I want to live.”
The rocker admitted that it was thanks to the support of her family, mainly her father and the desire to return to the stage, the reasons why she managed to get ahead and leave the hospital.
Currently, the Guzmán family is in the “eye of the hurricane” due to the lawsuit filed by their daughter Frida Sofía against her mother and grandfather, whom she accuses of sexual abuse, family violence and corruption of minors.
