All basketball lovers are surely anxious and partying, because this Thursday the 2022 edition of the National Basketball Association (NBA) finals begins, the maximum event of this American sports league.

The finals of the 2021-2022 NBA season will have the Golden State Warriors on the Western Conference side, who came to this instance at the hands of the trident Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green in a dominant way after winning 4 games against 1 against Luka Doncic’s Dallas Mavericks.

They reached the playoffs as the third best team in the West but in the elimination rounds they left the Denver Nuggets (of the regular season MVP, Nikola Jokic), the Memphis Grizzlies with the spectacular Ja Morant and in the conference final to the Mavs.

“The Warriors are back, to lift the trophy for the fourth time since 2015 (their sixth finals since that year, of which they have won three),” the NBA said on its website.

Under the baton of the legendary Steve Kerr (who as a player was a three-time champion with Michael Jordan’s Bulls and twice with the Spurs), the San Francisco Bay team arrives with the experience of its trident champion and young figures such as Jordan Poole and Jonathan Kuminga and Mexican-American Juan Toscano-Anderson.

“Meanwhile, the Celtics will also try to add to the franchise’s trophy case, which is bigger than the Warriors’, and every other team’s except the Lakers (the Celtics and Lakers are the biggest winners of NBA with 17 championships each),” adds the league. Leading the team is Jayson Tatum in exceptional form.
