Lil Uzi Vert’s decision to embed a diamond on his face appears to be the the most ridiculous thing ever.
On Twitter, he explained that he has been paying off the $24 million diamond since 2017, having just finalised the last payment.
On Wednesday night, the Eternal Atake artist took to Twitter to give fans a morbid update of his diamond-implanted forehead.
The now-deleted tweet sparked reactions from fans who were concerned with his well-being. “Bro, if this is not safe,” one user wrote. “You better take it off. I don’t want to see you dead.”
Other users noted he should be fine as long as the gem is safely removed.
In an effort to show his fans he was okay, Uzi shared a video of his face. “Ok we good,” he captioned the post. “I’m literally tryna turn into a diamond.”

He said that the diamond, which is “10 almost 11 carats”, is the most expensive purchase he’s ever made, worth more than all of his cars and his home combined.
