Every day there are more cases of people who, due to not being vaccinated, their health conditions have been greatly affected at the time of contracting Covid-19.

This time, a 43-year-old father told of the difficult moment he is going through due to the virus and made a conscience call through his social networks, in the United States.

According to the NY Journal, it is Travis Campbell, 43, who was hospitalized a week ago in the emergency unit of a hospital in Bristol, Virginia.

Campbell is conscious but with obvious breathing difficulties; however, he uses his social networks to share messages of encouragement to other people who are going through similar situations.

His wife and two of his children are also known to have caught the virus, but they are at home.

“I have never been so sick in my life! My whole family has Covid, I’m really sorry I didn’t get the vaccine. It is a testimony for all my bulletproof friends who are resisting: it is time to protect your family, it is not worth suffering long term lung damage or death, please go get vaccinated,” pleads the man in a post from your personal Facebook.

On the same platform, Campbell tells about his daily health, which worsens every day with the obvious difficulties he has when breathing.

A few days ago, the man published a post where he relates that his health does not improve, but on the contrary.

“They transferred me in the middle of the night to an intensive care unit. My breathing and oxygen are not improving, the next step is a ventilation machine. All this could have been prevented with a vaccine,” he details.

Campbell, in recent days, has been very sorry for not getting vaccinated and in a recent publication added: “If you are not vaccinated, for the love of God, get vaccinated!”

His call has moved hundreds of users on social networks; in addition, it joins that of other patients and relatives who have gone through similar situations.

Other cases

A few days ago, the widow of a Nevada man, father of five, shared one of the last messages she exchanged with her fiancé: “I should have gotten the damn vaccine,” she wrote.

On the other hand, in Florida a woman accepted that not getting vaccinated at this time had been a bad decision for her family, after her father and brother died of the virus in less than a week.

The contagions of Covid-19 in the United States, in ascending line by the Delta variant, have forced the authorities to accelerate the rate of vaccination in recent days.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) report that, to date, 49.7% of the population has completed their immunization schedule against 57.9% who have received at least one dose.
