Brutal traffic accident on route 2 La Plata (Argentina) : a car collided with a column of light

A brutal road accident was registered in the last hours on Route 2 near La Plata. A vehicle hit a column of light at full speed. The driver had to be rushed to a hospital in the area and his state of health is kept in reserve.

The incident occurred around 7 p.m. on Route 2 at kilometer 71, when a motorist aboard a Chevrolet Classic gray collided violently against a column of lighting located on the side of the highway. Once the health personnel arrived, the driver was rescued unconscious inside the cabin of the car, according to police sources informed Infobae.

Later, the man was rushed to a hospital in the area, where he is in a reserved state. During these hours the causes that caused the accident are investigated.

A few days ago there was also another brutal traffic accident in which man was injured as a result of a chain collision between three trucks on the Pilar branch of the Pan-American highway.

The crash occurred at kilometer 36 at the height of the town of Pablo Nogués, when a man aboard a Mercedes Benz truck that was transporting mineral water fell asleep and collided with the back of a Volvo truck which was loaded with liquid cement and was driven by a 45-year-old man.

Due to the inertia of the impact, the Volvo rammed another truck ahead: a Scania that was transporting pieces of reinforced concrete and that was driven by a 48-year-old driver.

After the triple crash, the only person who was injured was the driver of the Mercedes Benz, whose cabin suffered a serious deterioration. As a result of some blows and injuries, the driver had to be transferred to a health center in the area.

Due to the operation to remove the trucks, for much of the afternoon all the lanes of the Panamericana in the direction of the Federal Capital were kept closed, which caused traffic complications in the area.

As well, two people died and two others were seriously injured injured after two trucks collided head-on on a road in the Buenos Aires town of Roque Perez.

The fatal accident occurred at kilometer 135 of Route 205, when for reasons not yet established one of the cargo vehicles crossed lanes and hit the other moving in the opposite direction head-on.
