Indiana Jones and the Dial of Fate is the name given to this episode number five of what we could already define as the other Lucasfilm franchise. On the night of February 12, during the Super Bowl celebration, a preview of a few minutes was broadcast where we find several actors who join this story.
“Are you still a Nazi?” Ford poses, like Jones, the character of Mads Mikkelsen (another round) Jürgen Voller, and the scenes begin to follow each other and the faces of the actors already known from previous films as well as those who join them begin to interact in what will be a new adventure. In the preview you can see how Ford’s face has been rejuvenated by around twenty years.
‘Ant-man and The Wasp: Quantumania’ already has its first reviews and reactions, and they are more than favorable
Ahead of its official release in commercial theaters, the new Marvel movie has started to get a few impressions. These are some of the comments the film starring Paul Rudd has already received
The film is set in 1969, when space travel was the hot topic. Indy meets Helena, his goddaughter (played by Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Flea bag) in the middle of a fight against the aforementioned Voller, this former Nazi who now serves for the United States and his plan to travel to the moon, this time as a NASA engineer.
For those who were big fans of the four previous films, you will see the return of a great character: that of Sallah, played by the great John Rhys-Davis, who was part of Indiana Jones and the Lost Ark e Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade where Sean Connery brought Indy’s father to life. But new talents are also added to this story. Antonio Banderas will give life to Renaldo who, in the words of the Malaga actor, defined his character as “little one, he’s just a friend from Indiana he’s looking for because he needs something his friend,” he said in an interview with The Collider Site.
‘Scream 6’ will be the longest film in the entire franchise
The next episode will last more than two hours and is already preparing its cinema premiere
Boyd Holbrook (narcos) is another of the actors who joined the film and gave his impression on Indiana Jones and the Dial of Fate: “It’s going to be awesome. She’s going to be fast, she’s going to be tough and she’s going to have heart. All of James’ movies have that emotional beat, and we’ll have it in Indiana Jones 5 too,” said the actor, who has already worked with the director on the film. Logan. Shaunette Renée Wilson, Thomas Kretschmann and Toby Jones, among others, also join the cast.
The great novelty of this title is that the mastermind behind this story, Steven Spielberg, does not officiate as a director but rather joins as an executive producer and in turn has been close to all the making of the film. James Mangold is the one who sat in the director’s chair of this fifth opus who in turn wrote the screenplay in collaboration with Jez and John-Henry Butterworth. And of course, the music of John Williams will once again unveil the chords so characteristic of the beloved Indiana Jones that they are already a cinematic classic.
The film is set to hit theaters on June 29, 2023.
