Germany’s gross domestic product (GDP) grew by 2.7% in 2021, according to advance data published this Friday by the federal statistics office Destatis.
This increase is somewhat higher than forecast by both the Bundesbank and the Government, which in their latest forecasts had indicated that the German economy could grow by 2.5% and 2.6%, respectively, in 2021.
