(Citizen Free Press) — An explosion in a building on Toledo Street in Madrid, Spain, leaves several injured this Wednesday. The Emergency Information Office of the Madrid City Council reported that nine fire crews and eleven SAMUR-Civil Protection units traveled to Toledo Street after the explosion in a building. They added that the teams are treating “several injured people.”
For its part, Madrid Civil Protection reported an ongoing incident in the Puerto de Toledo area. “Please avoid the area and clear the way to emergency resources. It will be informed if specific recommendations are necessary, ”they wrote on their Twitter account.
They pointed out that the focus “seems to be” on Toledo Street and that the emergency services are activated. “We ask to facilitate access to emergency vehicles,” they added.
